The Company has also tangibly committed to making use of forest materials that do not come from illegal sources and promoting safe behaviour at all levels with emphasis on reducing the environmental impact. In 2012, Topstar obtained certification for the Chain of Custody, in accordance with Standards PEFC and FSC® (License Code FSC-C113903). The FSC® COC certification is a system that makes possible to trace the material, whether it originates directly from the forest or it is recycled, from the source to the finished product, thus giving the assurance that the product is in all respects supplied from a certified forest or by a controlled recycling system. FSC® certified products available upon request. The PEFC COC certification ensures that the products sold come from sustainably managed forests, both for material coming directly from them and for the recycled material: it can certify wood but also nonwooden forest products.
